2018 Conference

The fifth edition of The Art Business Conference was held in London on Tuesday 4th September 2018.
Bringing together just under 400 senior art market professionals across 220 art organisations to discuss the key issues affecting the international art market.

Topics included, “Because it’s worth it: valuing contemporary art” “Provenance and the blockchain: issues and future visions” “The Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive: what does this mean for the art trade?” “The evolving art fair” “Comparative art law: arbitrate, mediate or litigate?” “The entrepreneurial museum” and our keynote speaker was Michael Ellis, Minister for Arts, Heritage and Tourism.
