Xu Ning has over 10-years’ experience in the media industry. He began his career as a reporter and managing editor in CBI in 2002. After his four-year experience in the IT and financial media industry, Xu joined Harper’s BAZAAR, the flagship magazine of Trends Group in 2006. During this period, he focused on business, culture, art, lifestyle and other fields. In the meantime, he interviewed the first rated celebrities, artists, designers and business leaders in China.
In 2011, Xu Ning co-founded China’s first international art magazine, BAZAAR ART, becoming the managing publisher and the editor-in-chief. As the first art magazine launched in HB’s 150-year history, Xu Ning, together with his team, built it into the most successful art media brand in China in three years and developed eight international versions worldwide. As a result, Xu Ning has won the honor of “Top10 Editors on the Cutting Edge of China in 2012”.
In 2014, based on his vast experience in Chinese art, the creative industries and his passion for media communication, Xu created an independent art and creative media platform “YunToo”, and successively launched many brands and products, such as YT Media, YT Picture, The Great Artist etc… and established the “Media-Content-Marketing” system. The newly established YT CREATIVE MEDIA explores global visual culture, being the best media of influence for art consumers in China.
