Jane Morris is an independent writer, editor and editorial advisor. She is the editor-at-large of The Art Newspaper and Cultureshock (a creative arts agency). She has contributed to titles including The Art Newspaper, Monocle, The Economist and Art Agency Partners’ In Other Words and commented on art and the art world for BBC Radio 3, Radio 4 and Monocle 24 radio, as well as national newspapers including The Guardian and The Independent.
She was the editor of The Art Newspaper (London and New York) for almost a decade, and was previously head of publications at the Museums Association. For several years she was judge and committee member of the European Museum of the Year Award, which focuses on innovation and best practice in museums. She is an editorial board member of Tate Etc, the world’s largest circulation art magazine.
She studied fine art at Central St Martin’s College of Art and Design, and journalism at City University, London.
